Fundamentals
We focus on fundamentals you can use for the rest of your life, not short term fixes. We have a natural and easy-going style. With a student-needs driven agenda, we fill the holes in your background, matching our attention to those needs.
Mentoring
In addition to teaching you the basics, we will help you with test taking strategies and show you efficient study habits that will help you in other subjects as well. We will guide you through goal setting using positive and constructive feedback and encouragement.
Personal Statement Coaching
Colleges are putting increasing weight on the personal statement in their admission decisions. We will work with you one-on-one to develop an effective and passionate personal statement that will win over any admissions committee.
Materials
We have developed various test prep materials following the guidelines of official sources such as The College Board® and The Graduate Management Admission Council® (GMAC®). We also have a large set of subject based homework problems and official practice tests. These resources enable our students to practice and excel at their tests.
Lessons
Each lesson is typically 90 mins long. We have standard length programs for GMAT, ACT, SAT, and SAT Subject Tests. We also offer customized packages and school help for Writing, Arithmetic, Algebra, Advanced Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus.
